This is an amazing Ted Klum London Model mouthpiece - it is virtually as new. It was played only a handful of times and is basically in NEW condition. This mouthpiece was machined from a solid block of bronze then hand finished and Rhodium plated - the plating is perfect. You cannot buy this piece from Ted Klum any more. He now uses brass stock.
It is a rare mouthpiece.
The sound is a extremely powerful - a Berg Larsen-like piece with huge amounts of harmonics and resonance. It generally has a lovely semi bright overall tone with plenty of complexity - but yes it can absolutely strip the paint of the walls when pushed! A huge pop/rock piece. I have not experienced anything like it to be honest. With a softer reed, it can be a bit more subdued and could suit jazz playing, no problem.
In it's original box with sticker and original black pouch. This mouthpiece is being sold as is, on consignment.
