1976 Selmer Paris Mark VII Alto Saxophone
This 1976 Selmer Paris Mark VII Alto Saxophone is in amazing condition throughout and has been fully overhauled by Rob Davidson at Sax Alive - and he has done an exceptional job! This horn is playing extremely well with a medium to bright tone and very responsive articulation - it’s a modern tone with a free blowing feel, but is also quite sweet in the top register. The tuning is excellent - this sax will hold its own against a Mark VI, no problem.
It is almost 50 years old and has hardly been played. The body is in beautiful condition. There has been no damage whatsoever and the engraving is sharp; the lacquer is 95%+. There is one spot of surface oxidisation around the round plastic LH octave thumb rest. This has no affect on the way it plays.
It comes in its original Selmer case in excellent condition with original guarantee card paperwork, Selmer Soloist C* Mouthpiece in it’s original Selmer tube and a metal Selmer cap & ligature in very good condition.
This is being sold on consignment. It is in such good condition I will warranty this instrument for 12 months also.
