Phil Barone Wooden Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece - Super New York 8*
This is a super rare handmade tenor mouthpiece made out of wood by Phil Barone in New York in the 1990s. The mouthpiece was inspected by Phil Barone directly and the metal inner sleeve was epoxied in place at his direction. There are 2 cracks, however these are completely stable and have not moved in 25+ years.
This is a fragile mouthpiece, but it really is an amazing player. It’s huge and meaty with lots of response. I highly recommend trying it. It’s one of the best mouthpieces I’ve tried!! No exaggeration.
Comes in its original protector pack with original sticker from Phil Barone’s workshop. Also comes with lig and cap.
This mouthpiece is being sold on consignment so is sold as is in pictures.
