Wonderful condition 1973 Selmer Paris Mark VI Tenor Saxophone #214,XXX. This is a stunning example of a later Mark VI that has a very warm, luscious and resonant core tone throughout the entire range - and it can wail as well - it is a perfect jazz horn. This saxophone has been fully overhauled and setup by Rob Davidson, who has done an amazing job - and it is playing flawlessly!! A couple of small dings were expertly removed from the bow and Rob has tightly lapped in the neck for a perfect seal. The alternate F# (half moon) guard was just replaced with a genuine Selmer guard and looks great. Photos of this are in the Dropbox folder.
This Mark VI has been setup with Music Medic tan pads and copper Maestro Star resonators. These resos add a presence to the sound and give it added projection - also, they look awesome!
It comes with its original Mark VI neck (which plays fantastic) and will also be supplied with an amazing playing solid copper hand-hammered neck made by a reputable high end manufacturer in China and features 2nd Winds logo. The saxophone comes in its original case in lovely condition, a Selmer neckstrap and a 12 month warranty on all mechanical parts and pads.
