Beautiful original condition, 1948 The Martin Alto saxophone, also known as the committee III. This instrument has been well loved by its previous owner, and has no damage/dings whatsoever. The thumb rest has recently been resoldered however. It is playing very well and the pads have plenty of life left in them.
These instruments are very well-known for their luscious and sweet tone, and excellent sound throughout. It also has great tuning. This example is no exception, and will give any horn on the market a run for it’s money. It is up there with some of the best Selmer's and Yamaha's I've played.
Comes with its original Martin case in fair condition. This horn is being sold on consignment so is sold as is.
