1936 #21,XXX Selmer Balanced Action Baritone Saxophone - frosted Silverplate

1936 #21,XXX Selmer Balanced Action Baritone Saxophone - frosted Silverplate

1936 #21,XXX Selmer Balanced Action Baritone Saxophone (down to low Bb) with beautiful Silverplate at about 98%!! Satin/Frosted Silverplate (known at Selmer as sable) with bright plating around the bell. The engraving on this horn is glorious! It was found in exceptional original condition however it still needed a full overhaul. Rob Davidson of Sax Alive has done a spectacular job and this baritone now plays flawlessly with an excellent setup that feels like brand new! There are only a few tiny dings (I can supply more photos) but other than that, it is virtually mint. And it really plays spectacularly. You can instantly hear and imagine the big bands of this era - and the great bari soloists. I would prefer a local sale, however I am willing to entertain buyers from overseas. I have packed and sent a number of horns OS with no issues. If you are interested to come and play it, get in touch.

It comes in the original Selmer case, however a brand new Protec case has been ordered and will be supplied with this horn.

A 2 year warranty on all mechanical parts and pads is also supplied with the sale of this amazing sax.
